Easter, Fantasy Farms and other Events

Fantasy Farms is a family-owned and operated farm located at 9423 Gibson Road in Chilliwack. In addition to growing flowers and produce, the farm hosts a number of great events at various times of the year.

People travel from all across the Lower Mainland for the farm’s Easter event in the spring and both Peteys Pumpkin Patch and Reapers Haunted Corn Maze in October. In December in past years there has also been Peteys Country Christmas.

In celebration of Easter in 2024, the farm hosted its  annual Peteys Easter Eggstravaganza event. There was also a new Easter egg hunt event for adults on three nights in March. It was called A Night of Illumination!

Easter Eggstravaganza at Fantasy Farms in Chilliwack

In 2024, Peteys Easter Eggstravaganza opened on Saturday, March 16th. It ran on Tuesdays to Sundays until the Easter Long Weekend. Daily hours were from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.

There are a number of things we really like about Peteys Easter Eggstravaganza. Not least of which, it’s affordable and good old-fashioned fun. Peteys Easter Eggstravaganza is a perfect place for young children and their families!

The event takes place at a farm and there are real farm animals that kids can see and even touch sometimes. There is a train that kids and their families can ride on around the property, and there are indoor activities too (which is nice on rainy days). The event also features pony rides, arts and crafts, and Easter egg hunts.

Admission to the family-friendly Easter event in 2024 cost $14 per child and $6 per adult. Children under the age of 1 entered for free.

Tips & Advice

Below are some suggestions and extra information to help you make the most of your experience at Fantasy Farms.

TIP #1: Expect to stay for up to a couple of hours at Peteys Easter Eggstravaganza (plus or minus). Between the egg hunting, barn, train ride and more, there is a fair bit to keep little folks busy!

TIP #2: Be sure dress warmly for A Night of Illumination. Remember, the Easter egg hunt takes place outdoors at night.

TIP #3: If travelling from far away, combine your trip with a visit to other attractions in the area. For example, Harrison Hot Springs is beautiful this time of year and just 25 kilometres or so north of Fantasy Farms.

TIP #4: Check out some of the other events at Fantasy Farms at other times of the year too. Younger children enjoy Peteys Pumpkin Patch in October and Peteys Country Christmas in December. Reapers at Halloween, meanwhile, is one of the Lower Mainland’s scariest and most popular haunted houses.
