Events This Weekend in Vancouver
Highlights of the weekend of October 16th to 18th include Circo Osorio Circus shows, Vancouver Winter Extreme Ski & Board Swap, Latin American Heritage Month activities, and The Journey Within Tour event with world-renowned meditation master Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. There is also Celebrate the Night in Maple Ridge, and the UBC Apple Festival at UBC Botanical Garden. A Diwali Fusion Boat Party happens on the Saturday with Vancouver Boat Parties and the Rubber Ducky Race is on the Sunday.
Also this weekend, the Vancouver Maritime Museum has a special Buoy Oh Buoy event hosted by drag queen Phyllis Hull. There is also a Take it to the Limit Eagles tribute concert in Abbotsford and a Halloween Night Climb & Ghost Tour at WildPlay in Maple Ridge.
Halloween-themed events include Fright Nights at the PNE, Cougar Creek’s House of Horrors, Reapers Maze of Terror, Lost Souls of Gastown and the Haunting of Vancouver Film Tour. There is also HowlOver at FlyOver, Canyon Frights at Capilano Suspension Bridge, Alouette Cemetery in Maple Ridge, and various other Halloween Events and Haunted Houses.
Other fall-themed activities next weekend include the Chilliwack Corn Maze at Greendale Acres, Magic of Fall Experience at Taves Family Farms and Petey’s Pumpkin Patch at Fantasy Farms in the Fraser Valley, plus Harvest Days at VanDusen Botanical Garden.
