The West Coast Wedding Show in Burnaby

West Coast Weddings presented their first wedding show in the Lower Mainland region in the spring of 2024. They run similar events on Vancouver Island, but this was the first “West Coast Wedding Show” in Metro Vancouver. There will likely be another local edition in the fall.

The West Coast Wedding Show is a one-day event that includes all sorts of wedding professionals in one large space. It’s a place full of more than 30 vendors offering products and services to help turn your dream wedding into reality.

The exhibition includes companies specializing in wedding decorations, videography, music, wedding dresses and more. It’s a convenient way to meet with professionals in the industry and find inspiration for your special day. The event also features fashion models and awesome giveaways.

Another nice feature about the event are the free food and drink samples. When we went we had a complimentary coffee latte, a glass of champagne punch, a cream pastry and a couple of other wedding reception-type snacks. It was all delicious!

Hours and Location

In 2024 the West Coast Wedding Show took place on Sunday, May 5th. It ran from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.

This past year’s event happened at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown. The four-star hotel is located at 6083 McKay Avenue in Burnaby. The venue is close to Metropolis at Metrotown which is the largest mall in the Metro Vancouver region. The area is also not far from Central Park.

Admission Details

Tickets for the 2024 West Coast Wedding Show were available online. Admission cost $20.50 (including online fees). If you used the promo code WCW-VBP20, however, you would have saved yourself 20%.

Admission to this past year’s event included entry into several draws. Prizes to win included a custom dress shirt, four-hour photography session, a decoration package, and a wedding service package. There were bigger prizes up for grabs too, including a seven-night honeymoon stay at a golf and spa resort in Mexico! Wouldn’t that have been nice to win! Someone did!

The West Coast Wedding Show in 2024 was where you would have found some of the best vendors and service providers in the wedding industry. At the event there were couples and wedding planners walking around the venue and talking to all the professionals on site.

At the event were vendors you’d need at every stage of planning. There were DJs, photographers, bakers, decorators, florists, dress designers, caterers and makeup artists, plus a whole lot more.
